    If you're driving from anywhere in Kent County, start by getting onto DE-1 S (Coastal Highway). Continue on DE-1 S for about 20 miles. You will pass through the town of Rehoboth Beach and then Lewes. As you approach Lewes, take the exit for Cape Henlopen Drive. Follow Cape Henlopen Drive for approximately 3 miles until you reach the entrance of Cape Henlopen State Park at 15099 Cape Henlopen Dr, Lewes, DE 19958. There is a parking fee of $5 for Delaware vehicles and $10 for out-of-state vehicles.

  • Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, take the DART First State bus service, Route 204, which runs from Dover to Lewes. Disembark at the stop closest to the Cape Henlopen State Park entrance. From there, it is about a 30-minute walk (approximately 1.5 miles) to the park entrance at 15099 Cape Henlopen Dr, Lewes, DE 19958. Please be sure to check the DART schedule for the most current times, as service may vary.

  • Bike
