Take DE-9 S, and follow the signs to Delaware City. Once in Delaware City, turn left onto Clinton St. Continue straight until you reach 45 Clinton St, where Fort Delaware State Park is located. Note that parking is available nearby.

    Public Transportation

    For public transportation, take the DART First State bus Route 1 from various locations in Kent County to New Castle. From New Castle, transfer to the DART First State bus Route 62, which will take you to Delaware City.
