Walking
If you are starting from the center of Lewes, head southeast on 2nd Street towards Savannah Road. Continue on 2nd Street until you reach the intersection with Savannah Road. Turn left onto Savannah Road and walk for about 0.5 miles. You will pass several shops and restaurants. After crossing the bridge over the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal, continue on Savannah Road until you reach the intersection with College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive and walk approximately 0.3 miles. The Virden Retreat Center will be on your left at 1155 College Drive.

From the center of Lewes, start on 2nd Street heading southeast. When you reach Savannah Road, turn left and continue biking for around 0.5 miles. After crossing the canal bridge, keep going straight until you reach College Drive. Turn right onto College Drive and bike for another 0.3 miles. The Virden Retreat Center will be located on your left at 1155 College Drive. Make sure to follow all bike lanes and traffic signals for safety.

To reach The Virden Retreat Center via public transit, first check the local bus schedules for the DART First State bus service. You can take the DART bus from the Lewes Transit Center. Get on the Route 204 bus heading towards Rehoboth Beach. Request to get off at the stop closest to the intersection of Savannah Road and College Drive.
