If you are driving, head towards Delaware City. From I-95, take Exit 4A for DE-1 S toward Dover. Merge onto DE-1 S and continue for about 10 miles. Take exit 24 for DE-9 toward New Castle. Follow DE-9 N for approximately 7 miles until you reach 45 Clinton St, Delaware City, DE 19706. There is a parking lot available at the park, but be aware that parking fees may apply.

For those using public transportation, take the DART First State bus Route 33 from Wilmington, DE. This route will take you to Delaware City. Once you arrive at Delaware City, it's about a 15-minute walk to Fort Delaware State Park.
