    Walking

    Start at the Newark train station. Exit the station and head south on South Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Delaware Avenue. Turn right onto East Delaware Avenue and walk until you reach the junction with South College Avenue. Turn left onto South College Avenue and continue straight. After about 0.5 miles, take a right onto East Chestnut Hill Road. Follow this road until it intersects with North Church Street. Turn left onto North Church Street and walk straight for approximately 2 miles. You will reach the Old Swedes Historic Site at 606 N Church St, Wilmington, DE 19801. The site will be on your left.

    Bus

    From Delaware Avenue in Newark, catch the DART First State bus route 1 towards Wilmington at the nearest bus stop. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop near the intersection of North Church Street and West 6th Street in Wilmington. From there, walk north on North Church Street for about 0.5 miles, and the Old Swedes Historic Site will be on your right at 606 N Church St, Wilmington, DE 19801.
