From Hillerød Station, you can either walk to Frederiksborg Castle (approx. 15-20 minutes) along Slotsgade or the path by the Castle Lake, or take bus 301 towards Ullerød or 302 towards Sophienlund and get off at the stop “Frederiksborg Slot”. A 24-hour all-zone transport ticket costs around 130 DKK, covering the train journey from Copenhagen to Hillerød and back.
