Driving
From Rømø, head east towards the mainland, crossing the Rømø Dam. Continue towards Tønder, a journey of approximately 40 kilometers. Upon reaching Tønder, follow signs south to Møgeltønder. Schackenborg Castle is situated at the end of the picturesque Slotsgade. Free parking is available opposite Schackenborg Slotskro at Slotsgade 42. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak seasons or special events.
Public Transport
From Rømø, take a bus to Tønder Bus Station. From there, board bus line 136 towards Møgeltønder. Alight at the Møgeltønder Slotsgade stop, which is a short walk to Schackenborg Castle. A single bus fare costs approximately 24 DKK.
