Getting There

Car
From the Goda Mountains, head south towards Djibouti City. You will be following Route N1. Drive approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the turn-off for the road leading to the Région d'Arta. Turn left onto Route N9 and continue for about 12 kilometers. Follow the signs toward Douda Women Only Beach. As you approach the beach, you may need to park your car in a designated area and walk the remaining distance to the beach.

Public Transportation
Take a taxi-brousse (shared taxi) from any main hub in the Goda Mountains to Djibouti City. Once you reach the city, you can switch to another taxi-brousse heading towards the Région d'Arta. Upon arriving in the vicinity of Douda, you might need to take a local taxi to reach the beach. Expect to pay around 500 DJF for the taxi-brousse from the mountains to the city and another 1000 DJF to 1500 DJF for the taxi to Douda Beach.

If you are nearby and prefer walking, after parking your car or getting off at a nearby taxi stop, follow the signs that lead towards Douda Women Only Beach. The path may be rugged, so ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water for hydration. It’s approximately a 20-minute walk from the nearest parking area.
