From Roseau, take a minibus heading towards the west coast. Buses are a cheap way to get around the island. Look for minibuses with 'H' on the license plate. The bus fare from Roseau to Baroui ranges from EC$1.50 to EC$10.25, depending on the specific route. Be mindful that bus service is infrequent at night.

Rent a car from either Douglas-Charles Airport or in Roseau. Remember that in Dominica, driving is on the left side of the road. A driving permit is required, costing US$12, and is available from your car rental company or the Traffic & Licensing Department in Roseau. From the airport, follow the main road towards the west coast. Beep your horn around corners to alert oncoming traffic. There is free off-street parking at Sunset Bay Club.
