Getting There

Walking
From the center of La Plaine, head east on the main road (Route 9). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road near the La Plaine River. At the fork, take the left path that leads toward the hills. Follow this path, which will eventually turn into a narrow trail. After about 1 kilometer, you'll encounter a sign indicating the entrance to the Valley of Desolation. Continue along the marked trail, which will guide you through the lush forest and down towards the valley.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can approach the Valley of Desolation from a more rugged hiking route. Starting from La Plaine, take the path that leads towards the hills behind the village.
