Middleham Falls Trailhead Travel Guide

The Middleham Falls Trailhead invites adventurers to embark on a captivating journey through Dominica's verdant rainforest to Middleham Falls, the island's highest waterfall. Located near the village of Laudat, the trailhead is easily accessible and well-marked, offering a moderately challenging 3.5 to 4-mile round trip hike.The trail meanders through a 950-acre tract of pristine tropical rainforest, initially protected through a donation by John D. Archbold. As hikers venture deeper, they'll encounter giant ferns, towering hardwood trees like Gommier and Chatannyé, and the massive Maho Kochon tree.
