Walking
From the center of Soufrière, head east towards the sea on Bay Street. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the junction with the main road, known as the Fond St. Jacques Road. Turn left onto Fond St. Jacques Road and walk for about 15 minutes. Look for signs directing you towards La Resource, St. Lucia. Keep an eye out for local landmarks like the Soufrière Bay and the botanical gardens as you walk. Once you see the sign for La Resource, you will find Island Taxi & Tours on your right.

Local Taxi
In Soufrière, you can find local taxis near the main square or along Bay Street. Approach any parked taxi and let the driver know you want to go to La Resource. Most drivers will be familiar with the location. The ride should take around 10 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before getting in, or ask if they use a meter.

Bicycle Rental
If you'd like a more adventurous way to reach La Resource, consider renting a bicycle from one of the local shops in Soufrière. Once you have your bike, head east on Bay Street towards the main road, Fond St. Jacques Road. Continue on this road, enjoying the views of the coast. After about 15 minutes of cycling, you will see the signs for La Resource. Park your bike outside the Island Taxi & Tours when you arrive.
