Walking
Start from the center of Soufrière at the main square near the Soufrière Church. Head south on the main road, which is the Bayfront Road. Continue walking along this road for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road leading up to the Botanical Gardens. Turn left at this intersection, following the sign for the Botanical Gardens. Keep walking for approximately 300 meters until you see the entrance to the Botanical Gardens on your right. You will need to enter the gardens and follow the pathway through the gardens, past the various plants and flowers, until you reach the exit on the other side.
Walking
After exiting the Botanical Gardens, continue straight along the path which merges into a dirt road. This road leads directly to the trailhead for Waitukubuli segment 2-1. As you walk, you will see signs indicating the way to the hiking trail. The segment starts at coordinates 15.2344645 latitude and -61.3494369 longitude, which you can locate with a mobile map app if needed. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking gear and carry enough water and snacks for the trail.
