The center focuses on community tourism and promotes the community's involvement in ecotourism, providing adventurous tours that highlight Dominica's culture, history, and environmental conservation. SOC offers a range of tour packages, kayaking lessons, and rentals suitable for all skill levels. For experienced sea kayakers, they offer Nigel Dennis Design fiberglass sea kayaks or TRAK skin-on-frame sea kayaks. SOC conceptualized the Waitukubuli Sea Trail, a unique marine trail that can take paddlers anywhere from 5 to 8 days to paddle the length of Dominica's west coast. The center can outfit you for the entire trip. SOC also offers five unique kayak/snorkel tours in Soufrière Bay for all levels of sea kayakers. Beyond kayaking and snorkeling, Soufrière itself is a charming fishing town supplying roughly 40% of the island's seafood.
