The best day ever!

We had the absolute best experience with Barney Tours during our visit to Puerto Plata. From start to finish, everything was seamless, professional, and unforgettable. The 7 Waterfalls excursion was breathtaking and so much fun, and the Puerto Plata tour gave us the perfect mix of adventure and culture. Our tour guide, Alvin, truly made the experience next level. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and completely taken care of the entire time. His knowledge, energy, and attention to detail made us feel like royalty. We honestly felt like a king and queen the whole day. One of our favorite moments was when he took us to enjoy an incredible lunch right on the beach. It was beautiful, relaxing, and the perfect way to end an already amazing day. If you are on a cruise, do not let the cruise lines scare you into thinking independent tours are unsafe. We had zero issues and were back with plenty of time to spare. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly. This was hands down one of the highlights of our entire trip. We would do it again in a heartbeat. 1000 percent recommended.

Overall, a fun, safe, and enjoyable trip. The communication was excellent, the driver was nice, meeting instructions, and the AC van was pleasant. The falls were great, well organized, nice guide,s and the lunch was pretty good.

Zipline and fun waterfalls, natural water slides, and a great local lunch. Very fun!

Edwins Tour was great. This was the Zipline and Water Falls. They communicated with me 2 days before and on the day of the tour via text. Picked 2 of us up at the cruise pier right on time and took us to the zip line/waterfalls area (about 25 min) and matched us up with our tour guide. The price was better than Celebrity by $100. On this day we had our own driver and tour guide, unlike the celebrity ships excursion tour of over 25 people. I'm sure this tour could have more than just us 2 because it was not a private tour. What a fantastic experience we had in the mountains and jungle near Punta Playa in the Dominican Republic! We enjoyed the guided tour of the jungle, walking up to the top of the mountain to start the zip line at the top and did 4-5 zip lines...gorgeous views. After zip lining we enjoyed the most beautiful waterfalls, natural water slides. It was refreshing and cold. I even jumped off a small cliff (your choice or slide down or walk) into the water below! The local lunch served after the tour was buffet style with grilled chicken and fried fish, rice, beans, grilled vegetables and even pasta dish .Surprisingly really good. Driver then took us to a local merchant to taste and purchase cocoa beans and ground cocoa, coffee and cigars. Very safe and efficient.
