If you are in the central area of La Romana, you can easily hail a taxi. Just look for a taxi stand or wave down a passing taxi. Inform the driver that you want to go to Halibut Hotel located at Av 1RA esq. After getting in, you can enjoy a short ride as the hotel is located approximately 10 minutes away from the central plaza.

For a more economical option, you can take a public bus (carro público) that goes towards the eastern side of La Romana. Head to the nearest bus stop. Look for a bus that has signs indicating it is heading towards 'La Romana Este'. Once you board, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop to Av 1RA esq. After getting off, you can walk a short distance to the hotel, which should be visible from the main road.

If you are close to the Malecón (the waterfront), you can walk towards the hotel. Head north on Avenida de La Independencia until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1RA. Turn right onto Avenida 1RA and continue walking until you reach the Halibut Hotel, which is located at the corner of Avenida 1RA.
