  • Walking

    If you are in the central area of La Romana, you can head towards La Romana Harbor. Start from Parque Central, which is a popular spot in the city. Walk southeast on Avenida Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó for about 10 minutes. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Pedro A. Pérez. Turn left onto Calle Pedro A. Pérez and walk straight for another 5 minutes. You will see the harbor area on your right.

    To reach La Romana Harbor via public transport, find a local 'carros publicos' (shared taxi) or a bus heading towards the harbor. You can catch these near Parque Central. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'el puerto' (the port). The journey should take about 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, you will be dropped off near the entrance to the harbor area.
