Public Bus
To reach Sol Azul from La Romana, you can take a public bus from the main bus terminal in La Romana. Head to the terminal located at Avenida Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó. Look for buses heading towards 'La Caleta'. The fare is inexpensive, usually around 50 Dominican Pesos. Once you board, inform the driver that you want to get off at Calle A in La Caleta. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes. After getting off, walk down Calle A for about 10 minutes until you reach Sol Azul located at C233+WF2.
Motoconcho (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) from any point in La Romana. Negotiate the fare before getting on; it should be around 200-300 Dominican Pesos to reach Sol Azul. Provide the driver with the address: C233+WF2, Calle A, La Caleta Residencial. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking from Central Locations
If you are near the central area of La Romana, you can walk to Sol Azul. Start from the Plaza Central, head east towards Avenida Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó, then turn left and walk straight until you reach the bus terminal. From there, you can follow the public bus instructions above, or if you prefer to walk the entire route, continue straight along the main road until you reach La Caleta, then turn onto Calle A and walk until you see Sol Azul at C233+WF2. This walk can take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
