Public Bus
From your location in Puerto Plata, head to the main bus terminal, known as 'Parada de Autobuses'. You can ask locals for directions if you're unsure. Look for a bus heading towards Santiago de los Caballeros. Once on the bus, it will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arrival in Santiago, disembark at the Santiago bus terminal. From there, you can take a local taxi or a 'carro público' (shared taxi) to Parque Industrial Tamboril. Make sure to tell the driver that you're going to 'La Aurora'.
Motoconcho (Motorcycle Taxi)
If you're already in the city center of Puerto Plata, look for designated motoconcho stands or wave down a motorcycle taxi. Negotiate the fare before getting on. Ask the driver to take you to 'La Aurora' in Parque Industrial Tamboril. Be prepared for a quick ride, as traffic can be busy, and the distance is around 30 kilometers. It should take about 30 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic.
Walking (to nearby public transport)
If you're near the coastal area of Puerto Plata, walk towards Avenida de la Cultura, where you can find public transport options. Look for a 'carro público' heading to Santiago. Once you board, follow the same instructions as the public bus route mentioned earlier. The drivers usually know the best stops, so don't hesitate to ask them to drop you off close to Parque Industrial Tamboril.
