Turn left onto Calle 12 de Julio and continue walking straight. You will pass several shops and local eateries. Keep walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida Francisco Alberto Caamaño. Turn right onto Avenida Francisco Alberto Caamaño and continue straight for about 10 minutes. You will eventually reach Parque Colón, which will be on your left.

    From any central location in Puerto Plata, find a guagua (local minibus) that is heading towards the town center. Board the guagua and inform the driver that you want to go to Parque Colón. The guaguas are usually inexpensive and will drop you off near the park.
