From the center of Punta Cana-Bávaro, start by heading east on Av. Alemania towards Av. Estados Unidos. Continue straight for about 2 km until you reach the intersection with Av. Barceló. Turn left onto Av. Barceló, and keep driving for about 6 km. You will then come to a roundabout. Take the second exit onto C. Mare. Playa Galina will be on your right side after approximately 1 km.

To use public transportation, find a local 'carro público' (shared taxi) that goes towards Bávaro. Make sure to tell the driver you are going to Playa Galina. The fare is usually around 50-100 Dominican Pesos (approximately $1-$2 USD). The driver will drop you off at the nearest point to C. Mare. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 km to reach the beach.
