Public Bus
From any hotel or resort in Punta Cana, walk to the nearest main road where public buses (known as "carros públicos") operate. Look for a bus heading towards Bavaro or Cap Cana. This bus will drop you off near the entrance of Cap Cana. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 kilometers towards Playa Juanillo. Follow the signs towards Cap Cana and then look for signs directing you to Playa Juanillo. You may ask locals for directions if needed.

At your hotel, request a taxi to Playa Juanillo. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting the ride. The taxi will take you directly to the beach entrance. The drive should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive, follow the path leading to the beach area.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from a rental shop in Punta Cana. Start your ride towards Cap Cana. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach the entrance of Cap Cana. Continue straight, following the road signs to Playa Juanillo. The total biking distance is around 6-7 kilometers and will take approximately 30-40 minutes depending on your pace.
