From the center of Samaná, head north on Avenida 27 de Febrero. Continue straight to stay on this road, which will eventually lead you out of the city. Follow signs for Las Terrenas on Route 5. After approximately 20 kilometers, you will see signs for La Playita. Turn left onto the road that leads toward the beach area. There is a parking area available near the beach, but be prepared to pay a small fee for parking, usually around 100 Dominican Pesos.
