Car
From Samaná, head west on Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte. Continue straight for about 5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the highway. Turn left onto the Autopista Juan Pablo Duarte (Route 5) heading towards Las Galeras. After approximately 15 kilometers, keep an eye out for signs indicating Playa Colorada. You will need to turn right onto a smaller road that leads directly to the beach. There is no entrance fee for the beach itself, but be aware that parking may have a small daily fee, typically around 100-200 DOP.

Public Transportation
From the main bus station in Samaná, take a 'carro publico' (public taxi) towards Las Galeras. The fare is usually around 100 DOP per person. When you arrive in Las Galeras, ask the driver to drop you off at the Playa Colorada junction. From there, you may need to walk about 1 kilometer down a dirt road to reach the beach. Make sure to confirm the return schedule with the driver, as public transportation may have limited hours, especially on weekends.
