Getting There

• Motorbike Taxi

  From the center of Samana, head to the main street called Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte. Look for a motorbike taxi, known locally as 'motoconcho'. Tell the driver you want to go to Playa El Valle. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes. The driver will take you along the scenic coastal road, passing through lush landscapes until you reach the entrance of the beach. Be sure to take note of the driver's contact information for your return trip.

• Public Bus

  Start at the main bus terminal in Samana, located on Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte. Look for the bus heading towards Las Galeras. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Playa El Valle. The bus ride will take around 45 minutes. The bus will drop you off at the nearest point to the beach entrance. From there, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the beach itself.

• Walking (for the adventurous)

  If you are feeling adventurous and are up for a hike, you can walk from the center of Samana to Playa El Valle. Begin on Avenida Juan Pablo Duarte, heading east. Follow the coastline along the main path. This trek will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Keep an eye on the local signs directing you towards Playa El Valle. Be prepared for some steep areas and ensure to wear comfortable walking shoes.
