If you're driving from Samaná, take the main highway (Carretera Samaná - Las Terrenas) heading towards Las Terrenas. The journey is approximately 30 km and will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Las Terrenas, continue straight until you see the signs for Playa Las Ballenas. Turn onto Francisco Alberto Caamaño Deñó road and follow it until you reach the beach. There is usually ample parking available near the beach.
