Walking
If you are starting from the Plaza de Armas, head east on Calle Teatinos until you reach Avenida Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins. Turn left onto the avenue and walk north until you reach Calle Moneda. Turn right onto Calle Moneda and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Calle Lastarria. Turn left on Calle Lastarria, and you will find Castillo Hidalgo after a few minutes of walking on the hill. The castle is located in Parque Metropolitano, so look for signs leading to the park.
