If you are already in the Los Jardines neighborhood, start by heading east on Calle Juan Pablo Duarte. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Vicente Estrella. Turn left onto Calle Vicente Estrella. Continue walking for approximately 5 more minutes, and you will find Fortaleza San Luis on your right-hand side. Look for the entrance that is marked clearly.

For a quicker option, consider taking a motoconcho (motorcycle taxi). You can find motoconchos available on most main streets in Los Jardines. When you see one, tell the driver 'Fortaleza San Luis' or simply point to the location on your phone. The ride usually costs around 50-100 Dominican Pesos, depending on your starting point in Los Jardines. The ride will take about 5-10 minutes.

You can also take a local bus (carro publico) if you prefer this method. Head to the nearest bus stop on Calle Juan Pablo Duarte and catch a bus heading towards the city center.
