If you are on the Malecon, head east towards Avenida George Washington. Continue walking along the waterfront until you reach the intersection with Calle 30 de Marzo. Turn left onto Calle 30 de Marzo and walk straight for about 500 meters. You will see the entrance to Independence Park (Parque Independencia) on your right.

Public Bus
From Malecon, find a local bus stop along Avenida George Washington. Look for a bus heading towards Ciudad Nueva or Parque Independencia. The bus fare is typically around 20-30 Dominican Pesos (DOP). Get off at the stop near Parque Independencia and walk a short distance to the park entrance located on C. Mariano Cesteros.

You can also opt for a motoconcho. Look for a designated motoconcho stop along the Malecon or flag one down from the street.
