Getting there

By Car

From Quito, take the Pan-American Highway south towards Guayaquil. Once you reach the town of Latacunga, follow signs to the town of Ambato. From Ambato, continue on the highway until you reach the town of Riobamba. From Riobamba, follow signs to the town of Alausi. Once in Alausi, take the road towards Cuenca. After passing through Cuenca, continue towards Guayaquil. Once near Guayaquil, follow signs towards Salinas. From Salinas, take the road towards Santa Elena. Tortuga Bay Beach is located near the town of Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos archipelago.

By Public Transportation

From Quito, take a bus to Guayaquil. In Guayaquil, transfer to a bus heading towards Salinas. From Salinas, take a bus to Santa Elena. Once in Santa Elena, you can take a boat or ferry to Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos archipelago. Once on Santa Cruz Island, you can hire a taxi or walk to Tortuga Bay Beach, which is located near the town of Puerto Ayora.
