The trio was well organised and fully taken care of from prior to the flight to Galapagos to the flight out. The cruise was the best way to see the islands as it moves daily and overnight. The agents were very helpful in organising the logistics and answering questions and were very accessible and reliable. While I feel a cruise is expensive vs being based on land, it does make a big difference having all the logistics taken care of and only have to show up for tours guided by naturalists and making full use of the time available.

Galapagos Islands with Takiri: a dream come true!

What an extraordinary experience! A dream come true. All the guides were exceptional, with them we learned a lot about Ecuador and Galapagos Islands. Some even studied in Quebec for a year. Ecuadorians are very welcoming and generous people. Takiri took care of us every time we arrived and left the islands or different activities, it was so reassuring. I enjoyed the fact that we joined separate groups for nautical or cultural activities but we would meet as a couple in the evening to explore and dine together. The food is excellent in Galapagos: what about tuna and swordfish, ceviche, potato soup... a great culinary experience. We were lucky for the weather, it was nice every day, a few drops of rain here and there but it never lasted. The hotels are of superior quality: air conditioning, good quality bed, modern room, full lunch and water available to fill our bottles. Hotels are also conveniently located for exploring the area. On Isabella, we were a few meters from the sea... Outings at sea are exceptional: hammerhead shark, bald shark, Eagle ray, Galapagos shark, sea lion, sea turtle, sea lizard, penguin, seahorse and many tropical fish... nothing to fear. The birds of Galapagos are beautiful: frigate, crazy blue feet, pink flamingo, pelican, etc. This journey will remain forever etched in our heads and hearts!
