Getting There

• Bus

  If you're starting from the Plaza del Centenario, head to the nearest bus stop located on Avenida 9 de Octubre. Look for buses heading towards 'Centro' or 'Catedral'. After boarding, stay on the bus for about 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Catedral' stop, which is just a short walk from Catedral Católica Metropolitana de Guayaquil. You will see the cathedral from the bus stop.

• Walking

  If you are near the Malecón 2000, make your way towards Avenida 9 de Octubre. Walk along the Malecón towards the north and take a right onto Avenida 9 de Octubre. Continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the intersection with Calle Aguirre. Turn left onto Calle Aguirre, and then right onto Calle Ballén. The cathedral will be on your left at the intersection with Rocafuerte.

• Taxi

  From anywhere in the city, you can easily find a taxi. Simply tell the driver 'Catedral Metropolitana' or provide the address: 'e/ Ago y Ballén, Rocafuerte Chimborazo &'. The ride should take around 10-20 minutes depending on traffic. The taxi will drop you off right in front of the cathedral.

• Bicycle

  If you're near the Parque de las Iguanas, rent a bicycle and head towards the Malecón. Follow the Malecón north until you reach Avenida 9 de Octubre. Turn left onto Avenida 9 de Octubre and continue cycling until you reach the intersection with Calle Aguirre. Turn left onto Calle Aguirre, then right onto Calle Ballén. The cathedral will be on your left at the intersection with Rocafuerte.
