Walking
Starting from the middle of Malecón 2000, head towards the south end of the promenade. As you walk along the waterfront, keep an eye out for the large sculptures and the beautiful view of the Guayas River. Continue walking until you reach the end of the Malecón 2000, where you will see a pedestrian bridge leading to Simón Bolívar Malecon.
Walking
If you prefer a more scenic route, take a detour by visiting the nearby Parque de las Iguanas before heading towards Simón Bolívar Malecon. From Malecón 2000, walk east towards the park, enjoy the local wildlife, and then proceed back towards the waterfront, continuing south until you reach the entrance of Simón Bolívar Malecon.
Bicycle
Malecón 2000 is equipped with bike lanes. If you have access to a bicycle (either rented or brought along), you can cycle south along the promenade. Follow the designated bike path, which will lead you directly to the entrance of Simón Bolívar Malecon, located at R439+VXP, Guayaquil.
Public Transport
For those staying further away, consider taking a bus or the Metrovia. The closest Metrovia station to Malecón 2000 is 'Estación Centro,' from there, you can walk towards the waterfront. Take a bus that heads towards the city center and get off at a stop near Malecón 2000, then follow the walking directions provided above.
