Bus
From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop. Look for buses heading towards Av. 9 de Octubre. Board one of these buses, which are usually marked with their destination. The fare is inexpensive, typically around $0.25. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop for 'Tungurahua'. Once you get off, walk a short distance along Av. 9 de Octubre until you see the entrance to Safari Park on your left.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi. Simply hail a taxi from the street or use a ride-hailing app. Provide the driver with the address 'Av. 9 de Octubre y Tungurahua'. The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic and will cost approximately $3 to $5.
Walking
If you are staying nearby, you can walk to Safari Park. Start at the central landmark such as Parque Seminario (Iguana Park). Head towards Av. 9 de Octubre and walk north. Continue walking along Av. 9 de Octubre for about 15 minutes. When you reach the intersection with Tungurahua, Safari Park will be on your right. It's a pleasant walk, allowing you to experience the local atmosphere.
Bicycle
For the more adventurous, consider renting a bicycle. You can find bike rental services in various locations around the city. Once you have a bike, head towards Av. 9 de Octubre. Cycle north for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the intersection with Tungurahua. The park entrance will be on your right. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
