If you are starting from the Guayaquil Metropolitan Cathedral in the city center, head south on Calle Chile until you reach Avenida 9 de Octubre. Turn left and walk down Avenida 9 de Octubre for about 10 minutes. You will pass by various shops and cafes. Once you reach the intersection with Avenida Simón Bolívar, turn right and continue straight until you see the entrance to Malecon 2000 on your left.

From the Parque de las Iguanas, take the bus number 44, which travels towards the Malecon. The driver will announce the stops. Get off at the 'Malecon' stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the waterfront, and you will see the entrance to Malecon 2000 directly ahead.
