From the center of Highland Valleys, head northwest on the main road towards Santo Domingo. Drive for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the road leading to San Carlos. Turn right and continue for about 10 kilometers. You will see signs for Cascada Maderos as you approach San Carlos. Follow the signs to the waterfall, which is located about 3 kilometers from the main road. Be mindful of the local roads, as some may be unpaved.
