From the main bus terminal in Ibarra, take a bus heading towards Pimampiro. Buses leave every 30 minutes. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Pimampiro bus terminal, ask for directions to Mirador del Oso Andino. It's approximately a 10-minute walk from the terminal. Head south on Calle 10 de Agosto, then turn left onto Calle 24 de Mayo. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Avenida 1 de Mayo. The Mirador will be visible on your right.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Ibarra. Simply tell the driver 'Mirador del Oso Andino' or provide the address '8354+HR3, Pimampiro'. The ride should take about 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your trip.

If you are staying near Ibarra's central park, you can also walk to the local bus terminal located on Av. 10 de Agosto. Take the bus to Pimampiro as described above. After arriving at the Pimampiro bus terminal, it is a short 10-minute walk to the Mirador. Alternatively, if you enjoy hiking, consider walking from Ibarra to the Mirador. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Follow the main road towards Pimampiro, enjoying the scenic views along the way.
