Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the city of Otavalo, head south on the Pan-American Highway (E35). After approximately 30 kilometers, take the exit toward Cayambe. Follow the road signs to Cayambe, which is about 20 kilometers from the exit. Keep an eye out for scenic views of the surrounding Andes mountains. Once you arrive in Cayambe, look for parking options near the town center.

  From Otavalo, head to the main bus terminal and look for buses headed to Cayambe. The bus ride takes about 1 hour, and the fare is approximately $1.50. Buses run frequently throughout the day.
