If you are starting from Parque Central in Loja, head south on Calle Bolívar. Continue straight for about 4 blocks until you reach the intersection with Avenida Universitaria. Turn right onto Avenida Universitaria and walk for about 2 blocks. You will see Plaza 1 de Mayo on your left, just past the main entrance to the municipal building.

From the Loja Cathedral, exit the cathedral grounds and head north on Calle 18 de Noviembre. Walk straight for approximately 5 blocks. At the intersection with Avenida Huerta, turn left. Continue on Avenida Huerta for about 3 blocks, and you will find Plaza 1 de Mayo on your right.
