Car

If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Manta, which is approximately 90 km north of Parque Nacional Machalilla. Take the E15 highway south towards Puerto López. Continue on E15 for about 70 km, and you will arrive at the entrance of the park in Puerto López. Be aware that the park entrance fee is approximately $10 per person.
Public Transportation (Bus)

For those using public transportation, head to the Manta bus terminal and look for a bus heading to Puerto López. The ride takes around 2 hours and costs approximately $3-$5. Once you arrive in Puerto López, you can take a taxi or a local bus to the park entrance, which is about 10 km away.
