Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the city of Macas, head west on the E45 highway towards the town of Baños. Continue on this road for approximately 2.5 hours until you reach Baños de Agua Santa. Once you arrive in Baños, navigate to Avenida Amazonas. Caverna Sigsi - Huayco is located at the intersection of Avenida Amazonas and the main road in Baños. Look for signs indicating the cave's entrance.

• Public Transportation

  From Macas, you can take a bus to Baños. Buses run regularly from the Macas bus terminal to Baños, and the journey takes about 3 hours. Upon arriving at the Baños bus terminal, exit and walk towards Avenida Amazonas. Follow the avenue until you reach the intersection with the main road where Caverna Sigsi - Huayco is located. It's a short walk from the bus terminal.

  Once you have reached Baños, if you are staying in the town center, you can easily walk to Caverna Sigsi - Huayco. Head west on Avenida Amazonas for about 1 kilometer. You will pass by various shops and cafes. The cave entrance is at the intersection with the main road. Be prepared for some elevation, as Baños is located in a mountainous area.
