If you're driving, head towards Puerto Ayora, which is the main town on Santa Cruz Island. Once in Puerto Ayora, look for signs directing you to Tortuga Bay. There is no direct road to the beach; you will need to park your car in the designated parking area at the entrance of the Tortuga Bay trail. Ensure to arrive early as parking can fill up quickly. The entrance to the trail is located just off Avenida Charles Darwin.

Public Transportation
For those opting for public transportation, take a taxi or a local bus to Puerto Ayora from the main ferry terminal or other parts of the island. Once you arrive in Puerto Ayora, you can walk to the entrance of the Tortuga Bay trail, which is a short distance from the town center. Be aware that the trail to Tortuga Bay is about 2.5 kilometers long and will take approximately 30-40 minutes to walk.

Once you reach the entrance of the Tortuga Bay trail in Puerto Ayora, you will need to walk along the marked trail to the beach. The trail is well-maintained and offers scenic views. Keep in mind that the trail is not suitable for vehicles and is primarily a pedestrian pathway. There is no entry fee to the beach, but you will need to sign in at a small kiosk located at the base of the stairs leading to the beach.
