Walking
If you are in the historic center of Quito, you can easily walk to San Francisco Square. Start at Plaza de la Independencia (Independence Square), which is a central landmark. From there, head south on Calle García Moreno. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Calle Sucre, where you will see the Church of San Francisco on your left. The square is just in front of the church.
