Getting There

  • Metro

    From downtown Cairo, take the Metro Line 1 (the red line) from Sadat Station towards Helwan. Ride the metro to the Giza Station. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Giza Station, exit the metro and head towards the bus station located just outside the metro exit.

    At the Giza bus station, look for microbuses or buses heading towards the Giza Pyramids or Al Giza Desert.
