Getting There

  • Metro

    Start your journey by taking the Cairo Metro. If you are near Tahrir Square, head to the Sadat Station and board the Metro Line 1 (the red line) towards Helwan. Stay on the train for about 12 stops until you reach Maadi Station. Once you arrive at Maadi Station, exit the station and head towards the main road (Corniche El Nile).

    From Maadi Station, you can take a local bus or microbus heading to Ain Sokhna or Tura. Look for the buses with signs saying 'Ain Sokhna' or 'Tura'. The bus stop is just outside the station. Inform the driver you want to get off at Wadi Degla Path. The bus ride should take about 20-30 minutes. Keep an eye out for Wadi Degla Reserve on your right as you approach.
