Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Dahab city center, which is easily recognizable and often bustling with tourists. Head east towards the coast along Mashraba Street, a popular area with shops and cafes. Continue walking straight until you reach the famous Lighthouse area (approximately 1 km). Once you reach the Lighthouse, follow the coastline north along the beach path, enjoying the views. After about 1.5 km, you will see signs directing you towards the Blue Hole, another well-known site. From here, you will need to veer slightly inland. Continue to follow the path for approximately 1 km, and you will see Conehead Hill rising nearby. Make sure to ask locals for the best path if you feel unsure.

    If you prefer to cycle, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Dahab. Start at the Dahab city center and head towards the Lighthouse area. Once you reach the Lighthouse, follow the coastal road north. After about 3 km, watch for signs directing you towards the Blue Hole. As you cycle, be mindful of the traffic and pedestrians. Continue cycling along the path for another 1 km, and you will see Conehead Hill ahead. Parking your bike safely nearby will allow you to explore the area on foot.
