The Enchanting Underwater World of Dahab's Caves Dive Site

Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Dahab promenade (also known as the Corniche) where most hotels and restaurants are located. Walk south along the promenade towards the Lighthouse area. Continue walking for about 15-20 minutes until you reach the end of the promenade. You will see a small rocky path leading away from the beach. Follow this path, which will take you along the coastline. Keep walking for about 10-15 minutes until you see a sign or marker indicating 'The Caves Dive Site'. The path may be slightly uneven, so watch your step. The dive site is located near the water's edge, where you can see the entrance to the caves.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops along the Dahab promenade. Start your ride heading south along the promenade, and continue past the Lighthouse area. After about 15-20 minutes of cycling, you will reach a rocky path leading away from the beach. Take this path and continue cycling for another 10-15 minutes along the coastline. Look for signs indicating 'The Caves Dive Site'. You will park your bike near the entrance to the dive site, which is located close to the water.

• Local Transportation (Taxi or Minivan)

  Find a local taxi or shared minivan near your accommodation or the main square in Dahab. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'The Caves Dive Site'. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes. The driver will drop you off at the closest point to the dive site. From there, follow the rocky path leading towards the water. It is a short walk to the entrance of the caves, where you can begin your diving adventure.
