Walking
From Sakkala, head east towards the Red Sea on Sheraton Road. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with El Mamsha, a popular promenade. Turn left onto El Mamsha and walk for about 1.5 km. You will pass several shops and restaurants along the way. Eventually, you will reach the intersection with Safaga Road. Cross over to the opposite side of the road and continue walking straight for about 500 meters. Sand City Hurghada will be on your left.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Sakkala. Look for a taxi or use a ride-hailing app if available. The ride to Sand City Hurghada should cost around 30 to 50 EGP, depending on traffic. Inform the driver to take you to 'Safaga Road' near the Sand City entrance. This option is great for those carrying heavy bags or who may not want to walk in the heat.

You can also take a public bus from Sakkala to reach Sand City Hurghada. Head to the nearby bus station (located near the Sheraton Road area) and look for a bus heading to Safaga. The fare is usually around 5 EGP. Ask the bus driver to let you know when you reach the stop for Sand City. Once you get off, it’s about a 5-minute walk back towards the entrance.
