Getting There

Walking

Start your journey from Ismailia City Center. Head east on Al-Mahmoudia Street towards the intersection with Mohamed Ali Street. Continue walking straight for approximately 1 km until you reach the junction with Abdel Rahman Street (you'll see a large mosque on your left). Turn right onto Abdel Rahman Street and walk for another 500 meters. You will reach the main road, where you can catch a microbus heading towards Ismailia 2.

Once you reach the main road, look for a microbus with a sign indicating 'Ismailia 2'. Board the microbus and inform the driver that you are going to جبل المر. The journey should take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. The microbus will drop you off on the main road near Ismailia 2 (keep an eye out for landmarks like local shops and cafes).
Walking

After getting off the microbus, walk towards the direction of جبل المر. You should head southwest along the road, following the signs that indicate the direction towards the mountain. It is about a 1 km walk from the drop-off point. As you walk, you will see local gardens and small farms. Continue walking until you reach the entrance to the site of جبل المر.
