Getting there

Car

From the Red Sea Coast, take the main highway (Highway 45) north towards Aswan. The drive is approximately 300 km and takes around 4-5 hours depending on traffic. Follow the signs for Aswan, and as you approach the city, look for signs directing you to Kom Ombo. Exit onto the road leading to Kom Ombo (Route 50), continue for about 50 km until you reach the temple. There is parking available near the site.

Public Transportation (Bus)

From major towns along the Red Sea Coast, such as Hurghada or Sharm El Sheikh, you can take a bus to Aswan. The journey takes approximately 6-8 hours. Upon arriving in Aswan, you can catch a minibus or taxi to Kom Ombo, which is about 50 km away. The bus fare from Hurghada to Aswan is approximately 150-200 EGP.
